JS Promenade '09

We, the LPHS Juniors and Seniors, together with some teachers, celebrated the Valentine's Day with our prom. People were dressed in their most elegant attire as the prom bears the royalty theme.

Well, it wasn't just about enjoying a night because honestly the prepartion for the prom was arduous! (though the Juniors were the sponsors). I had too memorize 2 dances, 1 for the cotillion and one for the tango project, and everyone know's that dancing is not my thing! (Glad it's over!) I and Delfino were the ones tasked to make the slide shows and because some of my classmates won't immediately cooperate (no offense!), we had a hard time collecting their pictures. Not just that, we had to edit every single picture for the class prophecy. (anyway I think the hardwork paid off since we gained praises from Mr. Tieng himself. But actually, Delfin did the most editing part while I was the one who arranged the pictures and took care of the animations. hehe..)

I really enjoyed the night. I enjoyed listening to the class will and class prophecy. My best budd Hearty really is a 'vibrant vocal' since she was able to capture everyone's attention while saying the class will. I enjoyed watching the slide show that we made for the class proph. Actually, I found the original ending as funny and nice, but it had to be changed during the last minute due to some circumstances.

That night wasn't just about the prom, but it revealed a lot of drama in our class. Well, I won't tell it to you what are those! haha.. Basta la... Only the seniors know it..

Anyway, we, the seniorific girls spent the night (este the morning after) at the Asia Stars Hotel. It was a complimentary room, thanks to my gorgeous auntie nelia. While the boys spent the night at Kendrick's palatial house. But before going to Kendrick's, they visited us first in the hotel where part of the drama I was talking about happened. Well, I can say that the prom ended not too nicely for us seniors. But I know that this will be all okay. We'll be graduating in just a month away, so I know that we'll/ they'll figure these things out. BTW, our breakfast was a courtesy of Loyce who was celebrating her birthday the day after the prom. :)
