AIM or MED school? :-)

Well, my choice is now down to two. After passing the big 4, i decided to cut down the choices. Either Ateneo de Manila University or University of Sto. Tomas. ADMU- BS Management or UST- BS Medical Technology. My choice for which university may be a short term plan, but it will surely affect my long term plans...

Well, my dad already set aside a sum of money for me and my siblings' further studies. If ever I choose to attend ADMU with the course BS Management, my next step would be working in a big company perhaps for two years then earn my masters degree in business administration at the Asian Institute of Management. It's a prestigious graduate school not only in the Philippines but throughout the Asia Pacific region. I visited their website and I found out that it will only take about 16 months to earn a masters degree, but it will require a pretty big sum of money. Let's just say it's equivalent to a 4 year med school. Though it requires that amount of money, your future is somewhat secured because according to its website, the initial salary after gaining the masters degree from their institution is a WHOOPING 5 digit figure. Take note: INITIAL, what more if you stay longer from that company... Nokia, HSBC, are among others who seek graduates from AIM as their future employees. And because it is known not only in the Philippines but in the asia pacific region as well, employment to other neighboring countries won't be that difficult. Well, my dad wants me to take that path, but I don't know...

Well, I have another option. And that is entering a medical school after finishing BS MedTech in UST. I viewed the website of Ateneo School of Medicine and Public Health (ASMPH). It just opened last 2007. Aside from being a physician after graduating (and of course passing the physician's board), you also gain and MBA. So a doctor and a businesswoman, what more can I ask for right? But the only problem (aside from the time frame of course) is that ASMPH hasn't prove itself yet for producing quality graduates because it just opened recently. Anyway, I can also choose UST Med school which has already proven itself through the years.

AIM or med school? ADMU or UST? Can I have a coin please? hehe....
